Now 13 months old, she imitates a chicken, says Mommy, agua, signs for "more" which also means she is hungry and goes straight to the bathtub after dinner and tries to take off her clothes and climb in the tub. I guess she loves bath time!
I took her out front the other day to take some shots and practice my metering. I've been struggling to nail exposure consistently and so I wanted to put into use metering off something gray since I don't have a gray card. I was pretty happy with the results, well at least I didn't blow any whites out. That is photog speak for overexposing the whites so that they are blindingly white. That is my take on it anyway. These are SOOC (straight out of camera, more photog speak :), for the most part. I did minor exposure adjustments and cropped #4 in Lightroom.

She waves at cars passing by, so cute!
*When I went to import the photos, it put them in reverse order. Also, I want them to be after the type but it always put them at the top. What am I doing wrong? Anyone?

Ok I know the solution:
ReplyDelete1. First upload your pics. Upload them in reverse order. Make your last picture you want shown to be the first one you upload.
2. Once pics are uploaded as you want, look at where the cursor is. Should be at the bottome left corner of the 1st photo in post. Double click. Then move the up cursor and it will take you to the top and you can begin typing. You will then also be able to place your cursor in between photos to make individual comments.
Hope this makes sense friend!
I like the color, especially in 2- and that crop is nice also. Are you previewing the post before just to make sure it is coming out the way you want? I always have to adjust my posts because blogger does wierd things with spacing, etc. with the pics.
ReplyDeleteDelilah's hair is getting super whispy & cute :)
Thanks for the tips ladies. I just always type first then add photos based on what I type and am always frustrated with having to move the type around. I do preview but I can't edit in the preview, which is what I'd rather do. Is that even possible?
ReplyDelete*Corrected to add that I cropped the 3rd pic, not the 4th. I actually focused and recomposed the 2nd, 4th and 5th photos to follow the rule of thirds.
