Advent Calendar

I've been wanting to start our own family Christmas tradition for sometime now since we have been just following what we did as kids in a mish-mash sort of way, which is great and needs no changing, but I wanted something that we started as our own little family. So after catching up on my Martha (Martha Stewart, that is), I decided we would do the advent calendar, since neither of us did this as kids. I also decided that our advent calendar would be the fabulous glitter magnetic advent calendar that Martha and one of the werewolves from that little movie called New Moon (hmm, never heard of that movie) were making on the show. It was the head werewolf but you see they are not really werewolves but shape shifters, nobody seems to correct that fact. I don't know this personally its something my friend, Amy, told me. Alright, I admit it, I'm a fan but not a TwiMOM because my kids are not old enough to watch the movie and they can't read or even pick which team to be on. I'm Team Edward if you care to know. I mean, who doesn't want a vampire boyfriend? Anyway, back to Martha. They were making this glitter calendar and I LOVE glitter. But I'm not crafty, where do all these crafters even get the money to buy their craft supplies? This stuff is expensive. This calendar cost like $100.00, well $82.34 to be exact. Don't tell Marc and he won't find out here because he doesn't even read our family blog. Despite its cost, its pretty cool and sparkly (as Lulu would say). Don't you think?
