there is a little boy...

... named Brock, whom Luisa is in love with. Yes, I mean-in love, googlied eyed and everything. It was "love at first sight with these two" as Brock's grandmother said this morning as we walked into school together. Today, I actually witnessed the love and how different she acts around him than her other boy friends. We are invited and attending (how could we miss it) his birthday party this Saturday. She has been talking about his birthday non-stop and on our way home from school today she was holding his invitation and said "I want to taste Brock's birthday." I turned around confused to ask her what she meant and saw her licking the invitation. I almost crashed the car I was laughing so hard.

    So funny. I had no idea that 2 year olds could have crushes, but apparently they do! I won't tell Sam about Brock, he might shed a tear into his cheerios... ;-)

    I didn't think 2 year olds could have crushes either, but there is no denying the love. When her teachers talk about her they always end it with "and she REALLY likes Brock." They have even said that if she wakes up from nap before him, she will stare at him until he wakes up.
