day 5: Carl
I don't have any pictures to share. But today I feel gratitude towards Carl, a maintenance worker at my employer. Carl is a very nice, outgoing guy. He always says hello when he sees me and if he's in one of the golf carts out in the parking lot, he will always give me a ride to work. Today, I left home earlier than normal so that I would not be late for work because I CANNOT BE LATE FOR WORK ANYMORE. As soon as I got to my mother-in-law's house with an hour left to still get to work, I realized I left Delilah's bottles at home. So I had to rush home, cursing the whole way, grab her bottles and rush back. It took me 30 minutes. It takes me about 30-45minutes to get to work from my mother-in-law's home. I was surely going to be late. Thankfully, traffic wasn't too bad and I arrived at work with only 4 minutes to park and get into the building (I need at least 10 minutes for this to be safe). As I'm passing the nearest parking lot (which is always full by 8:00 a.m.), I see Carl waving his arms at me. He flags me down to let me know that I can park in an area that is always restricted. I was the only one. Because of this, I clocked in right at 9:00 a.m.-phew. Thank you Carl, you saved me.

I can totally relate. It's extremly hard for me to get to work on time. The earlier I try to leave the later I am. Something always prevents me from getting there on time.
