Delilah is now officially crawling as of May 26th and getting better and faster each day. Right before Memorial Day weekend, she also started clapping, which is so darn cute. Other firsts in the month of May were a camping trip and a trip to the splash pad. She did great camping, except for the second night. She woke up what seemed like every hour due to what I believe was teething pain. A quick nursing would put her right back to sleep, but it was brutal even with her sleeping next to me on the air mattress. She loved playing with pine needles and dirt. She even did great in the car.
Marc skates at the skate park on most Sunday mornings with my brother and nephew. Lulu loves going too because she gets rides on the skateboard around the park from her Uncle Mark. My nephew, Scotty, is getting so good at skating and now has started dropping into the pool, which is soooo RAD! :) This past Sunday, Delilah and I went too and afterwards the girls and I made a stop at the splash pad before heading home. Lulu had fun running around (but had to be told a few times to stop putting her mouth on the spouts and drinking the water!?!) and Delilah loved it even though she was so dead tired.
I have no pictures because I am so behind. We have an old computer (bought in 2002) and basically ran out of memory/hard drive space because of all the pictures I have taken since receiving my first DSLR. We bought an external hard drive and have been moving files over to make more room and help the computer run faster. We also are looking into buying a new computer or laptop because I do not have a DVD burner to back up any of my pictures (which makes me very nervous). Anyway, I also have been trying to learn Photoshop Elements but now I might be getting the full version of Photoshop (fingers crossed). I hope to be caught up this weekend and hopefully post some recent photos. Lastly, I'm very excited to be attending my first photography workshop on the 13th! Its so exciting to finally get some hands-on learning experience since I'm been learning from online boards and books and by just practicing. But at times I feel so lost and have so many questions! I will also be posting some photos from the workshop... stay tuned!
